The next time it happens, right click on the incorrect image and select properties - does the URL in the properties box match the correct image, or the wrong image?

Yep...I'm on windows because I learned Cold Fusion first, which only runs on Windows. Now I'm furiously getting up to speed with MySQL and PHP so I never have to use another window server again. The URL in the properties box was for the image that was supposed to be there. So correct address, wrong image. And it's like roulette - ANY image on the site can show up there. And never the same one twice, and it only happens now and again.
