Whereas the UBB doesn't have the "largest" feature set in the world it does have a large development community over at www.ubbdev.com where you'll see the majority of the question answerers here at constantly <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ...

I know of a few "large" forums using UBB.Classic, you can go test them out for "speed":
