I understand the potential problems, but as of right now I don't really have a solution for the problem I'm facing. On my classic forum I had modified the code with advanced-er text so that people could do more formatting of their text. Will you be expanding upon the markup panel at some point in time to allow more formatting options, such as alignment or indenting? I'd like to not have to use html, but UUBCode needs to be able to provide the options I'm using html for.
