IE has typically had issues with displaying CSS per the Standard so there is code that is designed to check your browser....
Problem is, that "corrected code" also screws up everyone else
If, after like 10 years, M$ can't figure out how to play nice -- by the standards set forth -- then I'm about to stop worrying. And if *everyone* stopped worrying about supporting IE (cuz they can't play nice), then, eventually they will crumble and fall like they should (IMHO
