Would be a nice feature to be able to check a box that says a sub forum of a forum also populates the main forum.

eg

Main Forum = Resort Talk
Sub Forums for a range of resorts eg:

Thredbo
Perisher Blue
Selwyn Snowfields
Charlotte Pass
etc

Now a user posts something about Selwyn in the Selwyn forum but it is also seen in the parent forum of Resort Talk. That way someone can review ALL Resort Talk in the parent forum but if they are only interested in one particular resort they can dig down to that resort and just read discussion about it there.

This is an identical concept to classified ads for say accommodation.

Consider the path in classifieds for a region:

USA - California - Rockies - Lake Tahoe - Tahoe City

If you place a classified for accom in Tahoe city it is often visible right the way from USA and every step down. By the time you get to Lake Tahoe the list would have dropped from thousands to dozens, then down to Tahoe City and perhaps only 15 or 20 are left.

It is a concept widely used in classifieds of all types and should be fairly simple to implement with a parent - child relationship.

Would love it and I suspect it would be popular in all sorts of categories. Travel, gaming, anywhere actually where you segregate the discussion by subsections.
