Thanks for all the ideas guys.
Looks like we are going to Florida (the flight down to Miami was only another $10 - we are both keen photographers and will be spending some time in the Everglades
Now I need to try and send a copy of my disabled badge and passport to one of the Tax Collectors in Florida, so that they can issue me with a temporary disabled parking badge for the US
Either that or I need to track one down when I arrive, and queue up for an hour or so
Shame the USA doesn't recognise European disabled badges.
Although it is only a $15 charge, it will cost double that sending a money order and it via some sort of certified mail
Oh and sort out a hire car etc...
