Wondering why that is. On our board we can search the entire database for the past 9 years and the search comes back typically in a second or less unless the board is really busy then it might take 2 to 3 seconds.
We may not have quite as many posts as you but we do have many 50K+ size posts of programming code which is a lot more dense code to search.
