Thanked? yeh, I've been pushing for some "thanked" features (thanking posts more than thanking users though); better than "ranking" imo... more helpful.
Agreed. The ranking feature, while good in concept, actually seems to work more as a way to insult people so much so as I disabled member ranking in my forums. Members who are extremely helpful end up with low a ranking which in my opinion is uncalled for. A "thanking system" would work better to serve as an attaboy! You can't change human nature, but you can change the ranking system... please?
I do think ranking posts seems to work though.
