Well I tried to register at your site but registrations are moderated.
Not knowing the file type I think there are still some lingering problems with PDF files.
when you select the add file button does it make a line entry just about the caption area showing the filename?
But anyway in your attachment directory is a file created called test. This is created when you test the permission for the path you entered. Try deleting that file and go back to the control panel in the attachments section and retest. Maybe that file is corrupted.
