Hi there, my first post on here and while searching I found this thread. Hope you dont mind me jumping on this but I am having exactly the same problem here.
In my forum CP I am getting this message each time I test the directory: "Directory does not exist!
Test failed. Either the directory was not found or cannot be written to by the web server".
I am writing JUST the directory name in the "Attachment Storage Directory:" box and putting the FULL URL to Attachment Storage Directory box
I have been to my provider and all permissions are set. I checked and double checked this.
I am complaetely lost now as to what the problem is, I am not great with technical terms so if anyone can help in plain English that would be much appreciated. I am happy to go step by step.
