This has been fixed in a recent version. Basically some browsers would send the word "deleted" instead of the userid when cookies were being deleted, which in turn led to the database error. We've since fixed that so it will catch it and actually delete the entry properly.
On Edit: I don't think we were able to post a fix for this one since it actually required a few fairly complex edits to get this corrected.
On Edit #2: For that particular user, they should be able to log in again if they just manually delete the cookies from your site.
