UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Installation and Upgrade Support 7.2.2 -> 7-5-4-1 Error at Step 1

Greetings-

We are in the middle of upgrading from 7.2.2 to 7-5-4-1 and encountering an error at Step 1 of the install.php process.

The error is as follows:
styles/* FAILED (StyleExamples)

StyleExamples is a dir in the styles dir. I manually set that dir to 0777, rerun install.php, error persists and the perms are changed back to 0666. "A vicious cycle." What is the solution?

TIA!
