well, in reality, lightningrod, MOST forums are under attack on a daily basis without their knowing it..
it's usually not the forum per se, but the IP of the box that they reside on...
there are automated scanners from China, Taiwan, Ukraine (and others) continually trying to poke holes and compromise the server.. just a fact of life..
this is why it is always important to use STRONG passwords versus something easy like 'admin1234' for not only the SSH and FTP logins, but your admin passwords to threads as well..
just a good practice to keep in mind
