sounds like it's displaying the cached version of the online island.
did you 'Clear Cache' and also set the portal setting to update ever xx minutes?
Cache time for Who's Online is set to 5 minutes but again who's online counters same values as since Saturday when 7.5.6 update was done from 7.5.2
