Bert, being an active community administrator I would think that you already know the answer to your question. A good forum becomes a community which lives and breathes. In my forum there are members who participate daily and contribute a great deal of time or expertise and there are some who have been lurking for years without ever making a single post. I don't judge members by their post count. For the most part, just being there is all that counts. If all that my community is for some members is a source of information then it has truly served it's purpose.
