I was dabbling with adsense. My ad wouldn't show in my custom island on the page. I was frustrated as the profi's on the forum confirmed my code was ok and still nothing would show. Then I opened a support ticket and within a very short time, I had a response saying that google allows max. 3 ads on a page.... well, it was my 4th that wasn't showing. Sorry for the inconvenience, nothing todo with UBB but a very helpful reply. Thanks!
