Many of our users are using our forums to track goals - like "reach 125 pounds" or "walk 5k" or so on. It would be cool if we could add an optional field in their left-hand profile area where their goal was listed if they wished.
So for example Lori is tracking her daily food goals -

If she could post a "Weight Goal: 125lb" note there, it would be cool. That way it doesn't get lost in the signature area, and it's always available. A given user could set their goal to be whatever they wanted, or have it not show if they wanted.
Is there a way to make an optional field that they can choose to display or not display, to go there? I.e. some might want to track their goal but not show it to others.
