For some reason (most likely due to security vulnerabilities in your website), files in your /tmp/ directory are being accessed and executed. These range from perl to BASH scripts, and are being used to DDoS attack other sites.

Since I moved to Linux (from Windows) a while back I have not had access to the system files. They are asking me to do some things in /etc and /temp.

When I log in with PUTTY, I get to the same level as when I come in via PLESK or even CUTE FTP.

Am I using the wrong account info? Administrator verses ??

Is there any place with a good tutorial? Especially one that is compatible with UBB? The ones that I'm finding don't help much.
