Evening Folks. Been a while since I have been on, and just reopened up the UBB forum for use. Its a fresh install and is working great except for the Avatar's - The user being able to upload their own.
Here's what I got.
Profile setting: avatar upload - /home/blahblah/public_html/forms/images/avatars/useravatar
File permission for all of those directories is 777 - Do the Test Directory and returns directory exits and is writeable.
Full URL to avatar uplaod storage is the same as the avatar upload above
Also the test file from checking the directory via the tab is there in the above directory.
So thats working just fine. Means that it should be working. Or at least the files are being uploaded.. but I cant see them in the forum

Registration screen under Registration setting - Avatar is dithered show
Forum Permissions: only thing there is the gallery images ( which I dont use at this point) all are "0"
Site permissions: Can chose a stock Avatars : "1" am able to get the avatar to work from the preloaded avatars of the board for the users just fine. But can not get their privately uploaded avatars to show in their profile / post.
Can Upload an avatar: all are set to "1"
So I am able to upload a avatar via the user aka "my stuff" Edit profile, it will upload to the above directory, but will not show in the profile or any postings.
I have searched the Ubbwiki, surfed the forums, but nothing that is listed is helping me figure it out. Any Ideas or suggestions??? Or is it that I am just way too tired after messing with this all day:) and I am missing something.
