Yes. The error disappeared after they rebuilt Apache without Suhosin. There is nothing related to suhosin on the main control panel page.

If I go to admin/suhosin.php the following is displayed:

The default configuration values of the Suhosin module are known to cause problems with some operations in some PHP scripts.

A default Suhosin configuration might lead to malfunctions in script preformance, such as writing blank configuration files in some cases. This behavior cannot be fully avoided due to how some PHP scripts work, by transfering large amounts of data in a single HTTP request; which is what the Suhosin module is designed to prevent.

Generally, all suhosin.request.*, suhosin.post.* and suhosin.get.* directives can have a negative impact on PHP script usability. You can generally locate dropped variables, configuration variables, and what limits you're hitting, in the webserver error logs that reside on your server.
