Can anyone enlighten me on mod_security settings on a webserver?
I don't have lots of details, but it appears that when the webhost beefed up some settings in mod_security it lead to users seeing the error message: "This webpage has a redirect loop".
This affected both UBB and our Joomla pages. It seemed to kick off when returning to the home page after visiting another page in UBB or the Joomla site.
Changes to several rules did not seem to make a difference. The fix for the moment was to turn it off.
Has anyone encountered this? If yes, can you enlighten me? I'd like to pass the information to the webhost.
