Internet Explorer is End of Life (Jan 12, 2016) and is not supported; it does not follow current web standards, and it will continue to get more and more dated with time.
Fix: Use a modern browser such as Edge (the new Microsoft browser), Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.
Microsoft Edge had a similar bug with the "remember me" feature up until 2016, which would read a cookie time of "0" as "never" versus "infinity" (like every other browser uses).
