How-To Import A StyleYou can easily import these new Styles the same way you've always been able to import styles:
1. Go to Control Panel > Styles
2. Click the "Import Style" bottom tab.
3. Click "Browse" button and navigate to the directory on your local computer where you unzipped the downloaded files to (ex. from the "style-xxSTYLENAMExx-20190105.zip" archive). and select the style.txt file you want to import.
4. Once your chosen style has been imported, you'll be at the "Edit or Add a Style" page. Confirm that Images within "Name, Images & Wrapper" is set to "default". Click the "Update or Add Style" button at the bottom.
Your newly imported style is now ready to be used by your users. Repeat this for each of the other new/updated styles you want to use.
From the Styles list page, now you can mark your older stock styles inactive, or delete them if you choose. Don't forget to set a default style for your forums.
What About The Images?The General Images are part of the stock forum software and were installed when you originally installed your main UBB.threads php forum software. They are also included within this package so forum owners with expired licenses can also benefit from the updated stock styles of recent UBB.threads software versions.
IMAGES INCLUDED WITH EACH PACKAGE:
- /images/general/.../*.gif (General Images)
The images within each archive can be installed by copying their directory structure right in to your forum software directory structure.
example:
images/general/custom/.. => forums/images/general/custom/..
images/general/default/.. => forums/images/general/default/..
images/general/ubb/.. => forums/images/general/ubb/..
The newly added Image packs will be available to you within the Style Editor under the General Images selector.
