Bear in mind :
You need to create that folder if it does not yet exist. Then give it the proper permissions.
Then in Control Panel > Membership/Profile Settings after you input both paths you must click on the test link directly under it.
This will create a test file required if it passes with a visual cue.
If it fails then ftp and change the folder permissions and repeat.
