At least the last time i was told.
I would look at the php settings for timeout and memory
max_execution_time
max_input_time
max_file_uploads
max_input_vars
memory_limit
post_max_size
upload_max_filesize
You may need to increase a setting for the delay and for a temp buffer size for drag and drop
