I got things close to running by using the config.inc.php file and the absolute path and HTTPS site references and allowed me to get past the login issue. Although there were still errors due to the server side references the php scripts use.
I bit the bullet and pointed the DNS records to the new hosting company, updated the config.inc.php file and hit the site and all worked as expected. I just had to find some additional references that were missing to fill in all the links from the different site areas and all is working.
I had to downgrade the PhP version to 7.4 and add the proper SQL requirements and SQL worked as it was on the hosting company Version 8.0.39-cll-lve.
