I am running 7.7.4. I have Captcha running on the registration screen and it's working fine. Can Captcha be implemented on any other panels?
The reason I am asking is that my ubbt_ONLINE file is filling up with the 14400 max number of records. I run a script every hour via cron to truncate the table. About 1000-2000 new records are added per hour.
- What is the purpose of the table? I haven't yet seen any problems due to truncating the table every hour.
- It is apparently bots that are trying to access the ubbThreads system repeatedly, I am seeing a lot of IPs in ubbt_ONLINE from Russia, China, Thailand and other countries where I have no clients. Is there someplace else I can activate Captcha to stop the bot access? I don't know where they are entering the system.
