It sounds like you have a separate bug - not related to the spider-friendly URL's - otherwise ubbthreads.php/ubb bit would not work.

Might be easier to open a new thread under the 'bugs forum' - as it sounds like a bug and not related to spider-friendly URL's.

If it isn't a bug, it can then be moved to a better forum.
