I have downloaded the trial version of UBB.threads and intalled it on my personal computper which is running an Apache Webserver and MySQL. I've got the program up and running, but the problem is that it won't let me register myself as an admin. At the end of the install process when I click on the new user script and fill in the required info, I receive an error message regarding the inability to locate my SMTP server on port 25. I'm guessing that this is becuase I have no SMTP server running (this is just a test server on my home computer and not connected to the web). I'm also guessing that because I am unable to reply to the verification email that is never being sent, I will not be able to register as anything more than a regular user, which I am now.
I need to view the admin functions so that I may make an informed decision on whether or not to purchase this program. Is there any way to register myself as an admin without the email verification?
