I'm seriously stumped on this one:
We have had occaisional(sp?) complaints about how our board acts, and I'm seeing it consistantly since we upgraded to 6.5.1.
now, I've got things set as follows:
Primary Settings>>>advanced>>> CookiePath (set to default) /
Cookie Prefix (unset)
Cookie Expiration Time: 30758400
Track Members via sessions (unchecked)
Session file storage dir (set to /above the html dir/ubbsessions
-the ubbsessions dir is set to 777 and is taking session files.

With that said: The behavior I'm seeing:
You go to the forum (
www.unnet.net/ubbthreads) and you're logged in already... life is good. You see the lighted bulbs for what has new stuff, as well as the red new thread/post indicators... again, life is good.
You then go into a particular forum that has multiple new posts or threads and you see the bolded threads that indicate new activity or new thread.
If you go into a thread and you then back out... using the proper links on the site... it shows all threads marked as read.
If you don't go into a thread, but just view the post list. Go back out of the postlist on a particular forum and back in... they are all marked as read.

Now it behaved differently before where it would mark read when it's been... read...
any ideas??? I'm seriously stumped...
