Hi, I am going to be switching host servers very soon. Could someone please provide a checklist here so this transition is as seamless as possible? Couple of concerns:
1) How much "down" time will there be.....my new host says it takes 48 hours to recogize the domain after it's been pointed in their direction
2) How do I go about moving my ubbthreads without disrupting anything that's already been posted and/or modified? Do I need to go through the entire UBB Install process again or can I simply just move the files and SQL database over to the new server?
If someone could provide a detailed "checklist," it would be greatly appreciated. tia.
