okay, I deleted the ubb_files directory from Cache and enabled cache option. I posted and deleted my post. seems to be working this time....
regarding name resolution - I've tried it both ways, with and without
WWW. always with
http://no error messages, other than the graphics (from ubb directory) not showing up and not being able to log in....
