Hello everybody.

I'm trying to intall the UBB buy don´t work
I have read this forum buy i don´t find the solution to my problem.
The permisions are Ok.
The problem not is for the FTP transfer (i had copied the files from floppy direct to the server). And my server supports perl (i have others cgi running.
My problem is a 500 server error and in the apache error logs says: (2)No such file or directory: exec of
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/cpanel.cgi failed
The permissions are OK and the file exists

Any idea?

I'm interested in UBB, but i want see it before thinking to buy it.

Have you loaded the hello.cgi and ubb_test.cgi files to your cgi directory and tried running them?

Also, check to make sure the path to perl is set correctly in your cgi files and the Perl needs to be version 5.xxx.

You say you copied the files to the server from a floppy. Was it already unzipped or did you unzip it from the floppy onto the server. If you unzipped on the Linux box, did you use the -a switch?
