UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 6 Support Problems with 'search facility'

As my forum is growing, and I am moving topics from different categories.

If you do a search, it returns a list of matches, BUT, some of them come up with FYI, the topic you are requesting no longer exists.

I would have thought, that when I move a topic, it will appear from the area I have moved the topic to .... Am I correct or wrong ?

Nate.

You need to rebuild the search index after you move threads around; there is a facility in maintenance in your control panel.

Is that the 'Rebuild Forum Metadata' check box I have to check ?

cheers

Nate.

there's a tab up top to the right when you are in that screen:

"Rebuild Search Index"
