Hi,

I just played around with W3T and liked it from the beginning.
Unfortunatly some of our customers don't have mySQL on their servers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> .

If there was an abstraction-layer between W3T and the DB one could "easily" substitute it and plug-in to another DB (or even Text-Files).

WHF does this, but it's only V0.1 and may take a while to become as reliable and feature filled as W3T

Perl's DBI/DBD is supposed to provide this abstraction. Unfortunately SQL isn't really
standard for everything you need to do, like auto-incrementing sequences.
