UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback gender should be included in profiles

and displayed as a symbol right beside the username when reading a post, and before the username on who's online and the user list.

this is one essential step towards a serious community software, it's getting warmer outside, our users are flirting like hell

our own profile addon even features sexual orientation and marital status, would be nice if at least the sex would be better integrated into the forums.

I added ours myself with the optional profile adds ons in the cconfig settings. It's something I remember we could have used years ago when I was on another board but it was beyond my time or skill to hack in the option and besides too many hacks on the old 5.x boards was a pain.
At least now with UBBT there are blank add on boxes for this kind of thing. 8)

I've done the male/female thing as well as sexual orientation and more for a board.

The extra fields are nice.... and alot of people use it for male/female, but it would be nice to have pull downs or radio buttons as options to avoid goofy answers, as well as customize what info is displayed with posts.
