I am having a wierd one though. I set up the whole thing exactly to the instructions. I can get to my cp and it works just fine. I start going through the set up process and I create my account as the admin. Still no problems... Then when I change the name of the forums and try to goto to them from my web page it gives me a this.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, []root@localhost[/] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

But I can goto the forums no problem before I change the info on them. I am installing V 6.5... I can post on the other forums that I have not changed.

Anyone have any ideas?

Please post the exact URL to your board.

Is there any more to the error message? Do you have access to the server error logs. Sometimes you can get more detail there.

Be sure the Modules directory and all of it sub-directories and contents have been uploaded in ascii mode. If your ftp program was set to automatic, the .pm files may have been transferred in binary, a bad thing. If you unzip on the Unix box, you must use the -a switch:
unzip -a filename.zip

Check that all of the vars_ and vars_wordlet_ files are set to 777 permissions.

Be sure the Templates sub-directory has been fully uploaded.

I figured this one out. What it was is my ftp program seemed to upload everything correctly except a few files. I uploaded the zip extracted and did the install it and boom everything worked. Thanks for your help tho. The last thing I tried is uploading the zip and installing from there not ftpin the files and directories. This worked well if you have control of you intire server. Thanks for your help tho.
