I've been going through all the procedures in the installation guide. I'm using win2k IIS 5 using activeperl. I have set permissions and file extensions.

The Problem:
I got to step 8 "Upload and Open ubb6_test.cgi" in the installation guide for nt/win2k. I uploaded it, opened it, and then press submit and I get a "The page cannot be displayed" I hit refresh / retry and still get "The page cannot be displayed". Refreshing ubb6_test.cgi, the page view is fine.

I've tried accessing the page though various computers. Can't be a javascript problem.

Thank you,
MrMowen

Yes those pages work fine.

It's just when I try submitting a form I get the error:

The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with a program on the page you are trying to reach, and the page cannot be displayed.

Best, Happy New Years !

Is Perl mapped to .dll or .exe?

Problem fixed.

Ok the forms were not working becuase I didn't have the execute option selected in the internet services admin.

A new problem has occured and I will create another post. Unable to create admin login/password. There is no link to set this.

I just see "To enter the UBB.classicâ„¢ control panel, please identify yourself as an Administrator or Moderator. "

Best,
Mowen
