I am using Win2k with IIS 5.0 Service Pack 1. I have it installed and working, and tried installing the ActivePerl perl tools. They seem to be working (I can run a perl script from the command line just by typing "hello.pl").

However, I can't seem to get the IIS server to use the perl scripts... When I try copying over the hello.pl I get the following error :

CGI Error

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Can't open perl script "*": Invalid argument

I have the app mapping set to .pl and the files to "f:perlbinperl.exe %1 %*"

if I remove the "%1 %*" from the map, it just hangs and does nothing.

Anyone got any advice here?

Where did you ge the %* from? It should be just %1, IIRC.

Try f:perlbinperl.exe %s %s

Actually, I got a good result by using the perlis.dll instead.

Thanks for all the advice though.
