Number of Posts Quote Can't use string ("member_directory_sort_POSTCOUNT") as a symbol ref while "strict refs" in use at CGIPath/ubb_profile.cgi line 1584. Code @sorted[ $sp .. $ep ] = sort $method @sorted[ $sp .. $ep ]; } # end foreach Display Name Quote Can't use string ("member_directory_sort_PDN") as a symbol ref while "strict refs" in use at CGIPath/ubb_profile.cgi line 1725. Code if($order[$orderdex] ne chr(255)) { @sorted[ $sp .. $ep ] = sort $method @sorted[ $sp .. $ep ]; Any idea how I'm to fix these errors? <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Thanks!

Barry Kaplan stranger B Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 11	Try what I have suggested on your other post, although it works well for me the way it is.. replace in both of those cases Code sort $method with Code sort &stringsort($a, $b, $in{sorder})

Also for doing so in both places I posted. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I do believe my ISP is being slow to upgrade Perl. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> I'll try that out later... but now I hear "real life" calling.

[Sun Dec 28 00:08:33 2003] ultimatebb.cgi: Array found where operator expected at /usr/local/lib/httpd/cgi-bin/mmartian/marzubb/ubb_profile.cgi line 1726, at end of line [Sun Dec 28 00:08:33 2003] ultimatebb.cgi: (Missing operator before ?) Code (RequireCode) CGIPath/ubb_profile.cgi: syntax error at CGIPath/ubb_profile.cgi line 1584, near ") @sorted" syntax error at CGIPath/ubb_profile.cgi line 1726, near ") @sorted" and after uploading the original ubb_profile.cgi the problem seems to be almost gone. The "Member's Number" works and the "Display Name" works most of the time. shrug <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
