I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for this post, but I have a chat room that was fed into from the user list, without having to login separately. I've just upgraded to 7.0.1, and I get the following error:


How can I resolve this?

It would seem you're not feeding the MySQL server a password from your script (see "Using Password: NO")

I see that, but I don't understand how to fix the problem. What I've found in the database is that the previous version was installed under w3t_ .. while 7.0.1 is ubbt_

Is there code I can add to mysql.inc in order to make previous add-ons work?

Unfortunately, the addon would need to be rewritten to work with v7.

I believe theres another chat mod at ubbdev using another service, but I've never used it so i can't comment on how it works, however I don't think it is free unlike my addon...
