Hi,

It would be nice to have a better avatar selection screen.

My suggestions would be...

1) To be able to sort avatars into a set order (for us we would like club badges in club alphabetical order)

2) To be able to have folders to store different avatars in. (i.e. animated, sport, characters, etc..)

These options would allow both the admin to sort and also the user to be able to search easily and use their chosen avatar.

Thanks.

Agreed, and it would not have to spend so long building the cache list when you have dozens of them.

I have a library of a few hundred, that I would like to share with my users - however I can't under the current system...

I am not aware of any of the forum that has this useful system - so it would be nice.

Yes please!
Some form of categorised system would be outstanding.
Or failing that, perhaps alphabetised?

Just to bring some sort of order to what is currently (in my case) an extremely looooooong page.

Thanks smile

We don't offer stock avatars, and one of the reasons you can give only a pretty small selection for it to be handable. Too much users would end up with the same avatar.

Alphabetized though is not the issue as I see. If you have hundreds or even perhaps thousands it is currently just impossible to review them once you get over about 50 of them. It almost needs some type of automated "How many per page" sort of like Google does for their image page.

We would like to offer 300 to 400 avatars - many sporting related forums would want to offer a badge for the members team.

With the current system it is almost impossible.

Surely the more avatars the less chance of people using the same one?

Yes, so this would a welcome option.

An idea would be to catagorize using the current catagories/forums. You have forums that handle the subjects of your forums, so you might want to catagorize avatars the same way.

I'd like to bump up this request. I'd also like to be able to categorize the graemlins as well.
