I have tried to delete some moods and tried to change them too. It has gone through the process or deleting/changing but it fails to do so. Permission checks are right 777 and this was tested with IE7 and FF

Directories should be 777, files should be 666 (well, according to the permission checker anyhow)

The danger of chmod 777 setting
chmod 777 [filename] will set your filename to be readable, writable, and executable for yourself, the groups users, and the rest of the world.
To demonstrate the security concern of this setting, imagine you have a index.php file in your /public_html, or /www web directory that is, in essence, your landing page for your website. Now imagine, on the server, there are many other users sharing the dedicated web server each having their own /public_html, or /www web directories. If you have your index.php file permission setting to be 777, any user on the machine can read, write (and delete it!), and execute (run your script) your index.php file if they know the right path to it (which can be easily obtained, since they are on the same server). And this can be done on shell, or even from the web!
In rare occasion you would want to set your files with chmod 777 permission. Most of the time, for web page files, the permission is 755, which means only the owner of the file can write to it, other users can only read and execute your files.

Directories are 777 files are 666. I even tried giving more permissions to see if that was the issue but it wasn't

NT, your cache will always need to be 777 as generally the "Apache" user is the one that files will belong to when written by the webserver; by not allowing this you'll end up with sessions/cache/compiled templates not being written

That's cool but on NT you would give the service that launched it permission, not everyone.

Dude you have to get out of the house some time. Microsoft has been off of BSD now for over 5 years. They run on their own Windows Server OS. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/interopmigration/case/hotmail/default.mspx[end os holy war] .

Well they were actually converted to W2K not W2K3
Regardless, just saying to be careful of giving FULL permissions to stuff on any OS unless you understand the ramifications.

Back the original bug report. There is reference to the wrong directory. On line 55 of admin/doeditmoodimages.php you'll see where it references:
style_array['avatars']
That should be
style_array['mood']
