My old install of 6.2.3 was in /ubbthreads and when we moved to 7, I simply renamed /ubbthreads to /ubbthreads_old, and used /ubbthreads for the new install. I put the redirect scripts in the ubbthreads directory just like they were in the old one, but they aren't working, can anyone offer some insight?
Thanks

Did you set the URL to that directory in the various redirector scripts?

Do you see any errors? Well, when you click on an OLD link, it just gets a 404 error. And Gizmo, yes, I set the directory to the new threads

Can you post the URL to your actual forums, and then also the URL that you end up on when clicking on one of your old links?

It appears your site doesn't support search engine friendly URLs, but the redirectors have it turned on. If you edit the redirect scripts and set the search engine friendly variable to 0 it should work for you.

on that note, I'm having the hosting company look into why we cannot use the spider friendly url's. They told me I need to have apache upgrades to ver 2. Waiting on a repsonse as to what that involves.
I'll try your fix for now, thanks.
Will report back

Apparently, it is now working.. I found some old thread links to test, some work, some don't. We have also noticed that some threads got lost during the import, so maybe those were some of the lost ones.
Thanks for the help!
