Is there any specific integration or known issues with UBBT 7.x and Joomla - CMS (Content Management System) http://www.joomla.org/

AFAIK there are no "out of the box" integrations with any 3rd party utilities other than a gallery (don't recall the title) and several chat scripts

Actually, Contentteller 2.0 supports integration with UBB.threads 7.x out of the box. The current Test 1 release is more an experimental beta, but an almost code complete test release is coming next month.

No, but I hope to upgrade later this month my websites with a current snapshot of Contentteller 2.0. The sites will run integrated with the UBB.threads forums at compatdb.org.

Thanks for the info Philipp. Don't care that much for any of the examples show on their main site though. Looks like they could use a graphics artist being on board. I know it's a pretty big site but I just don't like Major Geeks myself.
Curious of the actual "integration" they mention as the Control Panel of each of those BBS apps would need to be fully accessible from within to be really compliant (IMHO) and I really doubt that.
Placing a link and theme so that the BBS pulls up is not real integration as I'm sure most CMS can do that.
Looking forward to hear more of your experience in the future though.

Placing a link and theme so that the BBS pulls up is not real integration as I'm sure most CMS can do that. The integration is more just a link and theme. Basically, the CMS is using the user database for the front end. For example, you can login with your UBB.threads login to post comment news stories. The upcoming Test 2 release will have also the ability to post news threads directly from the CMS admin control panel. bleh, php is 'Zen Guard'ed other option is ioncube.. same diff. no fun to play with. /me uninstalls. Bear in mind that this is an evaluation copy of an early beta version. The final version will use very little if any encoding.

What are you talking about SD ? the php is encoded (binary), so you don't just open it in text editor and go for broke and Philipp, thanks for (hopefully) NO encoding in the end i think you'd get more helpers with easy edited stuff

I see how zend encoding helps you retain all rights to your work; but if someone has $20/page they can submit it to sites which specialize in decoding zend files; so for the people who really want to steal your content, they will...
All zending most files does is deter people who enjoy customizations, from the newbies to the experianced, they just want to see how things work and tweak them to their needs...

As posted before, the current version is mainly fully encoded because it is an early sneak preview. It is also the only way to enforce an expiration date. I am aware of the Chinese decoding site but it is not that smooth as they claim. Newer versions of Zend/ionCube have obfuscations features, which makes the decoding much harder. In most cases you get broken files were significant parts are missing. The other question is will someone pay $1000+ just to get a broken source code of an early beta version?

Lol likely not; but it's still a possibility (and I hope you don't have THAT many files for a script, $1k at $5 a file, that's about 200 files; that is a crapload of encoded files lol). Also, I've seen more than just one "chinese" site about getting files "unencoded". So long as the final isn't encoded, it's all good
