Yes, that feature request has been made a few times. Hopefully in an upcoming release.

Would be nice to be able to search your Private Messages. I find myself wanting this constantly... i have several pages of pm's on several sites... and some are several pages worth of replies soooo digging through them all looking for one item can take forever...

have the replies chunked in, asynchronously.. that's what the proxy does.. anyway, i was just digressing... you know how that goes  back to topic ---

Some of my members have asked for the ability to delete all messages from their inbox rather than having to go through page after page...

I can agree on that. Web page mail programs similar act the same way and it sucks if you have a lot of messages you want to dump.

I agree with purging messages in an "easy" manner... A select box to the left of each message with a "purge" option would be nice

Searching would be nice - by title or body - I'd like to find all those with 'Welcome' in the title and delete.

You know allen, that was one of the first addon's for threads, a welcome message pruner that I made to solve all of the resurrected welcomes ...
