UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Unable to Post Private Topics

We're having trouble where we're unable to send a Private Topic to a user at times. If you expire your cookies, things seem to work for a while, but then break again.

Able to type up a message, but the "send" button doesn't work. Everything else on the board seems to be functioning correctly.

Any ideas as to the cause/fix? We're running UBB.threads 7.02, and will be upgrading to 7.2.2 as soon as I get all our mods ported over.

The PM system has had a variety of issues in the early 7.x versions. In fact we actually had to rewrite the sending portion of it in the latest version so you'll definitely want to upgrade.

As for upgrading with mods, on ubbdev there's a topic on "how to" upgrade with hacks. That topic might make your upgrade go easier.
