Hi guys

I created a new sub forum with the right permissions but it's not displaying.

Also, a previous sub forum that I created is still listed on the main ubbthreads.php forums lists although it has been deleted and no longer works.

I have tried clearing the cache. Any ideas please?

I think the boxes down the right column have also stopped working (the ones that pull topics in). I've just tried disabling them while I try and find a fix from you guys but they are still there even I when clear the cache?

When I go to 'Control Panel » Portal Layout' to re-organise the way the right column boxes are ordered, they no longer save?

It could be the compiled templates not updating. Try FTP'ing into your site and then delete all of the .php files inside the templates/compile directory.

Hmmm... wonder what's causing these problems?

I deleted those but now the forums won't work, just blank/white pages.

I have no idea if this'd help, but did you try clearing the board's cache via control panel?

If you're now getting complete blank/white pages after deleting the cached templates then it sounds like new ones cannot be created. Check the permissions on the templates/compile directory and make sure it's fully writable.

I can't add, edit forums. Can't update the order of the portal and the right column doesn't pull in new topics.

Could this be a permissions problem also guys?
