It would be nice to link to forum permissions from admin/viewboard.php?forum=149&returntab=1 to say admin/forumperms.php?edit_forum=149 and vice-versa.

"Link"? Why not just use the "Copy From" option?

No, what I am saying is you are viewing the details of the forum, and perhaps editing its settings. There is no direct way to go to the permissions of the forum (for groups) and vice-versa.
