everytime i try to attached a picture on my own forum it says
We encountered a problem. The reason reported was
Images can be no larger than 1 bytes.

is there away to change the size bytes on my forum for and my members to post pictures in the photo gallery

Yes. Go to Forum Settings in the Control Panel. Select your Gallery Forum from the list and click Permissions. On the next page that appears, third column, 4 down - Maximum size of gallery images.

You enter the file size value in bytes. For example 1/2 MB = 512kb = 524288 bytes so you enter 524288.
